Steps to Create Anchor Links in WordPress

- Navigate to the Edit screen of your WordPress page or post you wish to add anchor links to.
- Create the text you wish to apply the link to.

- Navigate to the block you’d like to jump to.

- In the Block settings, on the right side of your screen, open Advanced. In the HTML anchor box, type a word or phrase for your anchor.

- Navigate to and highlight the text on your page that you’d like the anchor applied to (done in Step 2). Click the Link button from the block menu.

- Type the pound sign (#) and your anchor text (as entered in Step 4). Hit Enter.

- Preview changes.
- Test links.
- Update/Save page or post.
